Rent
The rent is determined by Habitat Services for each tenant and is based on their individual total income. Tenants receiving ODSP pay $543.30 per month and those receiving OW pay $356.72 per month.
Persons not receiving social assistance (or Seniors) may still be eligible for funding but the rate would be dependant on their unique situation.
Rent payment includes three meals and daily snack, laundry soap, toiletries such as toothpaste, deodorant, shampoo, etc. as well as daily housekeeping, use of telephone for local calls, daily newspaper delivery, staff on site 24 hours a day, monitoring of medication, monthly activities and visits and activities provided by COTA workers. Residents are required to sign a tenancy agreement.
